Cold Supply Chain Shipping

A few tips shared with us by an experienced partner...

* Only ship Monday-Wednesday because you do not want it to sit with carrier over the weekend.

* Pack and ship at last moment possible before pickup. Minimize time the packing materials are exposed to non-cold temperatures, especially the inside of the packaging.
* Wrap the cold packs with the product to maximize temperature control and prevent ice packs "smashing" into the product (especially if the product is fragile).
* It's very expensive to ship cold due to the shipping speed and materials+labor involved.
